Amidst the Nanda Devi and Nar Parvat mountains, Auli is popular for its Skiing slopes and Asia’s one of the longest cable car. The bitter cold winds, the vast snow-covered landscape, the spectacular mountains, all add up to make Auli a skier’s paradise.
Popular as ‘Mini Switzerland of India’, Chopta is a beautiful Hill station in Uttarakhand famous for its lush green meadows, camps and Tungnath-chandrishila trek. Surrounded by dense forests consisting of Rhododendron and Deodar trees in abundance, it is located at a height of 2700 metres.
Tungnath temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva which situated in the middle of the way to Chopta and Chandrashila at an altitude of 3,680 m. From where, you can glimpse of famous peaks of Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba Peaks.
Day 0
Departure from Delhi
Meeting point will be Majnu ka tilla Gurudwara/ RK Ashram metro station
Overnight journey to Rishikesh
Day 1
-Reach Rishikesh and early check-in to your camps
-Today, after breakfast, we’ll head out for the sightseeing, covering the very beautiful and exquisite Beetle’s Ashram, Laxman and Ram Jhula among others and post the sightseeing, we’ll be doing the rafting that is actually one of the most famous adventure sports in the city of Rishikesh
-We’ll head for the Ganga aarti around sunset along with thousands of other devotees who come from afar to be part of this incredible moment.
-We’ll head towards our camps post that.
-Bonfire Dinner and Night stay at the campsite
Day 2
– Wake up call and get freshen up. Post breakfast we will leave for Joshimath ( 9-10 hours journey )
-Reach Joshimath by evening check-in to your room and have some rest.
-In the evening enjoy the bonfire with some light music followed by dinner and overnight stay
Day 3
-Start your morning with breakfast at the hotel and proceed for day tour to Auli
-We will take the India’s highest ropeway, starting from Joshimath and ending in Auli which offers a majestic view of the Himalayan ranges
-Short hike to Auli lake
-Get back to your hotel in the evening, Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay
Day 4
-Post breakfast we will leave for Chopta ( 5-6 hours )
-Reach Chopta by evening & check-in to yours camps
-Explore the enchanting meadow of the valley
-Come back in the evening and rest for a while and get ready for dinner
-Bonfire and Musical night
-Sleep overnight
Day 5
-We will have our breakfast and start the day hike
-We will trek to Tungnath Temple which is the highest Shiva Temple in the world At the top, we will see 360 degree view of the most notable peaks like Nanda Devi, Kedar Chandrashila & Dronagiri
-The total trek time is 7-8 hours
-Back to the campsite, have dinner and enjoy bonfire
-Sleep overnight
Day 6
-We will have breakfast and check out from the camps
-We will drive to Sari village which is 30 mins drive from the campsite
-From Sari village, we will go on a short trek to Deorital Lake
-Enjoy magnificent views of Chaukhamba Peaks
Trek down to Sari village and depart for Delhi
Day 7
-Arrive Delhi in the morning with wonderful memories and a promise to come back.
