Tirthan Valley

Jibhi is one of the unexplored places in Tirthan valley, this is it less crowded where you can enjoy the peacefulness, tranquility & hospitality in beautiful Victorian pinewood cottages.
Located at 10,800 ft above sea level, Jalori Pass is one of the favoured places for trekkers that offers you a breath of fresh air amidst by elegant flowers. Situated near Banjar mountain ranges, it’s somewhat an untouched tourist destination to explore and enjoy your weekends. The jalorimata temple and stunning views of snow-capped landscapes adds as another reason to visit this place.
Serloskar in Tirthan Valley is a spectacular lake which is an easy 6 km hike from Jalori Pass. It has crystal-clear waters which situated near an old temple of goddess Buddhi Nagin, who is highly revered by the locals. The beautiful trails pass through the forest of oak and cedar trees.
Topped up by majestic mountains, prettiest alpine meadows, and magical coniferous forests, valley is counted among the most beautiful places in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
Tirthan valley, which is verdant green with deciduous forest and alpine grooves, stretches from Banjar to Bathad and has an average altitude of 1600 m above sea level, located right to the Tirthan River one of the significant tributaries of the Beas River.
The birthplace of Tirthan River is glacial lake of Hanskund Peak, which lies in the interior of the Great Himalayan National Park. It is very famous among avid fish lovers as it a home to ‘trout fish’ which is found in this river. The crystal-clear waters assist in enrich the fishing experience and offers fishing enthusiasts a memorable experience.
In Jibhi, you can spot many Waterfalls from the road and the area near the waterfalls is paved & surrounded by forests. The tranquil ambience, the enjoyable weather and the lush green trails leading to the nearby quaint hamlets that make Tirthan valley an ideal place for solitude seekers.
Day 0:
- Report at departure point and meet our representative. Later start your trip from Delhi around 9 pm.
- Enjoy your overnight journey from Delhi to Aut tunnel with music and games.
Day 1:
- Driver will pick up from Aut and transfer you to Jibhi. After reaching Jibhi waterfall. Enjoy the vibes of the place.
- After the lunch will go for a quick forest walk near to our homestay. At evening, will sit together for a warm bonfire along with snacks & music followed homely cooked dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 2:
- Wake up and enjoy the awesome sunrise view of Dhauladhar range. Taste the delicious breakfast. Drive to Jalhori pass from our homestay.
- Visit Kali Mata Temple at Jalhori pass. Begin your trek to Serolsar lake. Visit Bhudi Nagin Temple. Lunch near the lake (Packed lunch).
- Trek back to Jalhori pass and leave for delhi in evening.
Day 3:
- Reach New Delhi early morning by 7 am with sweet memories and a promise to come back again.
HOW TO REACH
By Air
Bhuntar is the closest airport to Tirthan valley, usually too erratic and expensive. You can opt for flying to Delhi and taking the Himachal Tourism (HTPDC) overnight Volvo bus to Manali.
By Road
It is also possible to drive from Delhi to Tirthan Valley, although the journey is a long 550 km drive. Drive to Tirthan Valley via Shimla would be a better option. The route is more relaxed and offers some of the most stunning views of beautiful cedar woods, the stunning Jalori pass, and charming villages like Shoja.
By Train
Chandigarh is nearest railway station to Tirthan valley. From here, you can take taxi or bus direct for Mandi.
