Bir is not directly connected to flight or rail.  Ahju railway station is the nearest railway station, which situated is only 3 km far from Bir. It lies on the narrow-gauge line, so it have only 4-5 trains from Pathankot.

Although, Pathankot is the nearest broad-gauge railway station, which is 142.2 km away from here. It is well connected to major cities i.e. Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and etc. From where, you can take a private cab or a bus from Pathankot to Bir.

How to Reach Bir Billing by Flight

 There is no direct flight for city of Bir. Kangra Airport is the nearest airport to Bir Billing, which is 67.6 km. far from here. You can easily get taxi or bus from here.

  Although, there are Other international airports close to Bir such as Chandigarh (290 km), Amritsar airport (260 km) and New Delhi (520 km).

How to reach Bir by Bus

 Bir Billing is well connected to rest of the country with road. Although, there are no direct buses for Bir Billing and mostly, buses will either drop you at Baijnath or Bir Road and then you have to take local bus for Bir Billing.

Himachal Roadways (HRTC) run daily Buses for Bir from almost all nearby major cities. If you are coming from Delhi, you can get the bus from Inter-state Bus Terminal (ISBT) Kashmere Gate of ordinary, VOLVO and sleeper category.

The nearest broad-gauge railway station to Bir-Billing is located in Pathankot which is about approximately 142 km away. So first take direct train for Pathankot and from there you can get a toy train to Ahju. From Ahju you can get a local bus or taxi for Bir-Billing.

To reach bir billing from Chandigarh, you have to take bus from ISBT chandigarh sector-43 for joginder nagar/baijnath / palampur whichever is more convenient. Since bir billing is located in between joginder nagar and Baijnath.

 You can take a bus from Delhi ISBT Kashmiri Gate to reach Bir-Billing by road where you can get buses of ordinary/VOLVO/sleeper category. You can also hire a taxi or a cab, but it will be more expensive than bus journey.
