The nearest railway station to kasol is Jogindernagar Station which is about 144 Kms from kasol. It lies on narrow gauge rail line, so that it’s not connected to major cities of India.  You can try the toy train from Pathankot (Punjab) to jogindernagar(Himachal Pradesh)but only if you have a lot of leisure time to burn.

 The nearest major railway station to Kasol is Pathankot that situated at a distance of 150 km from Kasol. Trains such as Andaman Express, Sarvodaya Express, Himsagar Express and Ten Jammu Express connects Pathankot with some major cities. From Pathankot, you can book taxi or take a direct bus to Kasol.

 Although, you can also use Chandigarh Railway Station to reach Kasol which is 310 km away.

By Air

The nearest airport to Kasol is Kullu Manali airport, Bhuntar, which is at a distance of around 32kms from Kasol. From Bhuntar airport, you can hire a taxi to Kasol. However, it is advisable to take a bus because it will cost you a ticket of Rs30-50 only while a taxi fare may be upto Rs500.

There are daily flights to Bhuntar airport with three neighbouring cities namely, Shimla, Delhi and Pathankot that are well connected with the rest of the country.
